Bristol Digital Radio promotes and supports digital radio technology in Bristol. The company is jointly owned by three of the city’s community radio stations: Ujima Radio, BCfm and Bradley Stoke Radio. Bristol Digital Radio operates by selling bandwidth on it’s local digital multiplex, generating profits to support community media in Bristol.
What we did
BBRC provided a loan to Bristol Digital Radio to purchase the equipment required to get on air and launch a new DAB+ multiplex that covers the Bristol area.
